Ginny Carey
Judge
Ginny Carey hails from Lancaster, Pennsylvania where she started training in ballet and gymnastics at the age of two. It was during these years that she had the privilege of working under some of the world's greatest companies and their teachers. Ms. Carey started her partner dancing training with Top Hat Dance Studio at 16 and eventually moved to Philadelphia to attend the University of the Arts with a concentration in Ballet. She started competing professionally in 2007 with partner Daniel McGee. Together, they have placed in more than 30 professional competitions. Ginny and Daniel held the World Hustle Championship title for 2011-2013 and have since retired from competition. Along with these competition titles, Ginny has won the IHDA's top professional competitor and top teacher awards several times and has been recognized in the Hustle Hall of Fame. She is also carries certifications with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing and Dance Vision International Dance Association.
In more recent years, Ginny's professional focus has turned towards Salsa. She spent a year and a half training, performing, traveling and teaching with former World Salsa Summit Team Champions, Calle Luna Dance Company.
She has trained amateur and professional competitors, teachers, and choreographed for both children's and adult performance groups. To see more performances by Ginny go to, Ginny on Youtube

In March of 2016, Ginny teamed up with partner, Artem Shiller, to perform professionally in the Cabaret and Theater Arts divisions. Their unique backgrounds in Hustle, Latin, Hip Hop and Ballet produce powerful and unique shows, including athleticism, artistry and storytelling.
